I recieved a tub of Slug Gone wool slug pellets at the Malvern Show. I placed these around my marigolds in pots at the bottom of my garden.These are usually attacked early on in their growth cycle by slugs, however this year a coating of the slug pellets repelled them and the marigolds have made a fantastic show.

I also have trouble on my allotments with lettuce and early seedling falling prey to slugs and snails, so next year i am going to trial the slug pellets around these plants to see if they are good enough to beat of an attack from a good welsh hillside slug.
